“SO WHETHER YOU EAT OR DRINK, OR WHATEVER YOU DO, DO IT ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.”
- 1 Corinthians 10:31
I grew up in a mixed race family, so the clash of cuisines and exposure to different cultures was prevalent early on. As someone who purely loves food and the process of single ingredients coming together into the big picture, this culinary journey expedited my will to learn, serve, and help others. I hadn’t truly picked up the knife until I was already 18 years old and living on my own. Playing Division 1 Soccer and chasing my athletic career was the only thing on my mind at the time. During my undergraduate years at UNC Greensboro, I became more and more confident behind the stove and even sharing food with friends and teammates. This was the unknown catalyst for the future success of Tev’s Table that I am incredibly grateful for.
Fast forward to today, we have fed thousands of people of all demographics since 2020. If there’s one thing I can leave people with, it is to always eat good food with good company. It’s the basic foundation of human fellowship. Shared stories, good and bad, are what connect us. I am forever blessed to be able to create and nurture those moments around the table, for the table, and more importantly cooked by Tev’s Table.
